Nestled on the calming waters of Mission Bay, San Diego, Once Upon A
Wedding– The Musical is a hilarious, interactive musical comedy that will have the entire family on their feet. Showing aboard the William D. Evans Sternwheeler, guests enjoy a top notch show and a full three course dinner while cruising around picturesque Mission Bay.
Created by Lisa Laughbaum of Laughing Tree Productions, Once Upon A Wedding follows Daisy Dudley (T’pring McMillon) and Davis Do-Wright (Charles Evans) as they celebrate their love in front of family and friends on their wedding day. But what should be the happiest day of their lives quickly turns into mayhem with mishaps of epic proportions. When the wedding coordinator, minister, and wedding party get on the wrong boat, it’s up to the coordinator in training (Ian Laughbaum) and the wedding singer (Lisa Laughbaum) to keep the day from becoming a complete disaster. The shenanigans of Daisy’s less than happy parents (Rick Rutti and Glenda Gerde), her great Uncle Julie (Harold MacPherson, Jr.) and Davis’ free-spirited sister, Debbie (Lindsey Pino), make for a hilarious laughout- loud good time.
